Bumllionaire, 1.000 millones de dollares para un indigente

¿Qué pasaría si toda la gente de una ciudad pusiera un euro para un fondo común?. Obviamente, se juntaría mucho dinero, tanto como habitantes tiene la ciudad. Ahora, ¿Qué pasaría si todo ese dinero se le diera a una sola persona?, pues que a poco grande que sea la ciudad, esa persona pasaría automáticamente a ser rica.

Bumllionaire es una web que nace a partir de un proyecto, quizá uno de los más locos que nos hayamos encontrado en mucho tiempo. Básicamente, a un emprendedor en Estados Unidos, se ha empeñado en llamar la atención sobre un grave problema, el de los indigentes. Este señor ha pensado que sería una gran idea que, ya que internet es un medio tan masivo en el que se calcula que se conectan sobre 1000 millones de personas, si cada persona que se conecta donara 1 dollar, podrían convertir a un mendigo en multimillonario y hacerlo entrar de lleno en la lista Forbes, consiguiendo un gran impacto mundial sobre un grave problema.

Como iniciativa me parece fantástica, desde luego demuestra el poder de internet, y aunque obviamente no va a conseguir las cifras que pretende, por el momento lleva 380 $ recaudados, si que va a conseguir divulgar el problema de la mendicidad e incluso se me ocurre que podría convertirse en una especie de plataforma para donativos online. Por lo de ahora parece que el autor de esta iniciativa sabe bien lo que hace, ya que está creando videos en youtube sobre la iniciativa e incluso una linea de ropa como medio de obtención de donativos vía merchandising.

Por cierto, el mendigo candidato a ser multimillonario tiene nombre, Guy Ladd Ritchie. Quién sabe si de aquí a unos años lo vemos plantando cara a Bill Gates en la archiconocida lista Forbes.
